Representatives from the Texas Compassionate Use Program (TCUP)—including Texas Original CEO Nico Richardson, a TCUP patient, and registered palliative care and rehabilitation physicians—will join Texas State Senator Roland Gutierrez for a press conference at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23 at the Texas Capitol. The speakers will highlight the urgent need to address the unregulated, lab made, synthetic-THC market and share the latest statewide polling data proving the vast-majority of Texans support a robustly regulated medical cannabis program like the Texas Compassionate Use Program—which was recently expanded by HB 46 during the 89th Legislative Session.
