A Day Well Spent in Richland Hills, Texas

Incorporated in 1950, Richland Hills covers just over three square miles in the heart of Tarrant County and the Texas Historical Commission lists it as a stop on the Texas Lakes Trail. Its central spot in the Mid-Cities puts parks, longtime local restaurants and family entertainment close by.

Green Valley Community Park

Just north in neighboring North Richland Hills, this 30-acre community park pairs lighted competitive soccer fields with a quieter side: a fishing pond with a pier and observation deck, a multi-purpose walking trail and a picnic pavilion. Pickleball courts and a playground make it easy to fill an afternoon.

El Chico Cafe

A Tex-Mex name with roots going back to 1940, El Chico's Baker Boulevard location keeps the Cuellar family's recipes front and center. Regulars come for enchiladas smothered in chile con carne, sizzling fajitas and chile rellenos, with a brownie skillet to finish.

Alley Cats Entertainment

Sitting right along NE Loop 820 in Hurst, Alley Cats packs bowling with nightly cosmic lighting, a two-story laser tag arena, Putt-Putt golf, batting cages, a rock wall and a large arcade into one stop. It's a family-run favorite for birthday parties and weekend outings.

Burger Box

This no-frills Glenview Drive spot is known around Richland Hills for made-to-order burgers, its signature Darn Tacos and fries that get cooked twice for extra crunch. Dine in or grab takeout on the way home from errands.

Archie's Donuts

Archie's has been turning out fresh donuts along Boulevard 26 for decades, and longtime customers still swear by its glazed rings and sausage rolls. It's the kind of neighborhood bakery where many of the morning regulars have been coming since the 1980s.

FAQs

Texas Original was built around one commitment: making medical cannabis that genuinely helps Texas patients. We're a licensed medical provider, and we work alongside physicians registered with the Compassionate Use Program to support patients from their first prescription through every refill.

Keeping cultivation, formulation and packaging under our own roof means there's never a question about where a product came from. That control is what lets us deliver the same results month after month.

We also believe the experience matters. Richland Hills patients can expect our Hurst team to slow down, answer questions plainly and make sure everyone leaves with a clear understanding of their treatment plan. Patients and caregivers are always welcome to call ahead with questions before their first visit.

Our Hurst location is at 760 Airport Fwy, Ste 300, Hurst, TX 76054. It's about 4.4 miles from Richland Hills, or roughly a 9-minute drive via Baker Boulevard and I-820.

Texas doesn't issue a physical medical cannabis card. Your physician submits your prescription electronically to the state's Compassionate Use Registry, and our staff verifies it in person when you visit.

Your prescribing physician sets the specific amount, product types and dosing based on your individual treatment plan.

Patients can pay by bank transfer during checkout, processed once your order is received. We also accept Aeropay, debit, cash and checks, with checks made out to "Compassionate Cultivation, LLC." Credit cards aren't accepted due to federal banking regulations tied to cannabis sales.

Yes, Texas Original offers several ways for patients to save, including:

  • Points Earned with Every Purchase: Patients earn points on every completed order, unlocking greater savings as they reach higher loyalty tiers.
  • Welcome Offer for New Patients: First-time patients receive a 20% discount to help get started.
  • Discounts for Veterans, First Responders and Military Personnel: We offer 20% off every order as a thank-you for their service.
  • Monthly Rotating Promotions: New promotions run throughout the year, giving patients even more ways to save on their medicine.
