2022 was a tremendous year for Texas Original and we are even more excited for what 2023 will bring! In 2022, we launched new products, witnessed the power of medical cannabis through the success of our patients, opened our first Houston location and more. This year, Texas will begin its 88th legislative session and Texas Original is advocating for the expansion of the Compassionate Use Program. High-Quality Medical Cannabis in Texas
In 2022, Texas Original launched several new medical cannabis products, including Texas’ first 20 mg THC fast-acting gummies. Creating a 20 mg THC gummy option enabled patients to effectively relieve their symptoms and administer their dose efficiently without consuming large amounts of medicine.
In addition to launching our 20 mg THC gummies and developing a new flavor, Sour Peach Mango, Texas Original created its first effects-based product, Sweet Dreams. Made with CBN and THC in a 1:2 ratio, Sweet Dreams are designed to help patients relieve insomnia, night terrors and other sleep symptoms associated with qualifying medical conditions. Each fast-acting gummy contains 5 mg of CBN and 10 mg of THC with targeted rest terpenes, including Myrcene, Linalool and Beta-Caryophyllene. Life-Changing Success with Medical Cannabis
Last year, we shared several stories about Texans who found life-changing relief with medical cannabis. These patients experienced symptoms ranging from pain, anxiety, insomnia, depression, seizures and more from their qualifying conditions. With the help of medical cannabis from Texas Original, patients reported significant relief from their symptoms. In 2023, Texas Original will continue to advocate for the expansion of the Compassionate Use Program so that more Texans can have access to a safe, effective medicine to relieve their symptoms.
New Houston Location
In the summer of 2022, we opened our first Houston location in the Heights neighborhood on Houston Avenue. Our Houston patient population has grown exponentially over the years, and we are so excited to bring our high-quality medical cannabis to Texas’ largest city. Our Houston location provides an in-store experience for patients to speak with our team members and learn more about medical cannabis.
Texas Original’s Goals for 2023
The state of Texas has come a long way since the beginning of the Compassionate Use Program in 2015, but there is still more progress to make. Starting January 10, 2023, Texas will begin its 88th Legislative session. Texas Original has big goals for 2023, with the most urgent objective of expanding the Compassionate Use Program so more patients can find relief with medical cannabis.
