all forms of epilepsy and other seizure disorders,
multiple sclerosis,
amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS),
spasticity,
autism,
terminal cancer, and
incurable neurodegenerative diseases.
Q: What is a “balanced” medical cannabis formulation?“Balanced” refers to more proportionate ratios of CBD and THC in cannabis-based medicine. Compassionate Cultivation’s original Lone Star tincture and spray are high-CBD formulations with a 20:1 CBD to THC ratio specifically developed for epilepsy patients. Medical research has shown that more balanced ratios can be effective in addressing additional symptoms associated with some of the recently expanded list of qualifying conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spasticity, ALS, terminal cancer and other neurodegenerative diseases. Now that the Texas medical cannabis program has been expanded to include these new conditions, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of this expanded patient group with a broader range of medical cannabis formulations.Q: Who will the new formulation be available to?Any Texas patients diagnosed with a qualifying condition will be able to access Compassionate Cultivation’s new formulation with the active participation and oversight of a registered physician. Their physician will need to enter them into the CURT registry and enter a prescription specifying dosage. Be sure to have the doctor let the dispensary know about the prescription as well.Q: When will the 3:1 formulation become available for Texas patients?Our new 3:1 ratio formulation will be available early September of 2019.Q: How will the 3:1 medical cannabis tincture be priced?The 3:1 formulation tincture will be priced at $90 per 30ml bottle and $50 per 15ml bottle.
