Texas Original Medical Cannabis Provider Serves First Patient Under New Conditions Identified in Recent Legislative ChangesAUSTIN, Texas—Aug. 29, 2019—Compassionate Cultivation, the leading medical cannabis company in Texas, announced today the general availability of a new, “balanced” formulation of its medical cannabis tincture with a 3:1 ratio of CBD to THC.Previously, only patients with intractable epilepsy qualified for medical cannabis in the state of Texas. Legislation passed in June 2019 opens up access to patients with conditions including all forms of epilepsy and other seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), spasticity, autism, terminal cancer, and incurable neurodegenerative diseases. The company also disclosed that it is the first dispensary in Texas to provide medical cannabis to a patient under the newly expanded conditions.
